Meeting with local Councillor and engagement with VHP Temple.

On Saturday 03/10/2026, PCSO 7002EA Aleem, accompanied by officers from the Loxford Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT), attended the weekly community surgery at St Alban's Church, Albert Road, alongside the local councillor.

During the surgery, the councillor highlighted several concerns raised by local residents, including reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB) and identified hotspot locations within the ward. The local SNT officers noted the concerns and will be carrying out appropriate action and patrols to address the issues raised.

Following the surgery, PCSO 7002EA Aleem and the councillor attended the VHP Temple to engage with members of the local Hindu community during a religious gathering attended by approximately 100 worshippers.

The officers spoke with senior members of the congregation, providing reassurance and community safety advice. They were advised to report any non-emergency incidents via 101 and to contact 999 in the event of an emergency. The engagement was positively received and helped strengthen relationships between the police and the local community.
